What does the Pangea3 acquisition mean for the LPO industry?

Thomson Reuters is acquiring Pangea3. Will this turn out to be a watershed event for the LPO industry? Will Thomson Reuter’s resources give Pangea3 the capital and cross-selling opportunities to enable it to take a clear lead over its LPO competitors? Or will an entrepreneurial start-up get swallowed up in a less nimble big company? I’m looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.

One Response to What does the Pangea3 acquisition mean for the LPO industry?

  1. Offshore legal outsourcing, or legal process outsourcing (LPO), or legal KPO (knowledge process outsourcing), or whatever you want to call it, has been generating both media hype and actual substance for years. But the bold entry of Thomson Reuters into the industry represents a serious, objective, outside validation.
